Staying at Het Gouden Boltje on Texel was a blend of convenience and comfort. The housekeeping team kept the room impeccably clean, a crucial aspect for a design enthusiast like myself. While the lack of tea and coffee facilities disappointed, the serene garden terrace with cozy garden furniture offered a tranquil retreat. The flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi were appreciated for unwinding after exploring the vibrant art scene nearby. On the downside, the absence of a bar/lounge area limited socializing opportunities.Regarding value for money, the adult-only policy ensured a peaceful atmosphere, but the high room rates may deter budget-conscious travelers. However, the inclusive luggage storage and free parking eased logistical concerns. The carpeted floor added a touch of warmth, complementing the contemporary design. Het Gouden Boltje caters to those seeking a serene, well-maintained retreat in De Koog, albeit at a premium.
